Revision Of Fees At The Manhyia Archives

As a result of increase in cost of materials and utility services, Management of the Manhyia Archives approved the revision of the following fees with effect from 1st September, 2022.

Searchers ticket for Ghanaians for 1 year (12months)  GH¢100
Searchers ticket for non-Ghanaians for 1 year (12months)  GH¢200
Searchers ticket for Ghanaian students for 1 year (12months)  GH¢50
Searchers ticket for non-Ghanaian students for 1 year (12months) GH¢100
Searchers pass for Ghanaians per day GH¢10
Searchers pass for non-Ghanaians per day GH¢20
Searchers pass for Ghanaian students per day  GH¢5
Searchers pass for non-Ghanaian students per day GH¢10

REPRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS

Photocopying of 1 page of a document of A-4 GH¢2
Photocopying of 1 page of a document of A-3 GH¢5
Comb binding 1 – 20 pages  GH¢5
Comb binding 21 – 50 pages  GH¢10
Binding GH¢25

NOTE

  • The cost takes into account the damage of the documents through photocopying.

About Us

The Manhyia Records Office (now Manhyia Archives) was established as part of the Ashanti Research Project. The Ashanti Research Project was conceived by the Institute of African Studies , University of Ghana in 1962. The project was launched in May 1963 at the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi by the Institute of African Studies .
